Steven L. Kleinsteuber, P.Eng, PMP, Owner and President
Steven founded 4Phase Automation in 2002. Steven has a successful record of both product development and customer based projects in the Semiconductor, Telecom and Solar industries. Previously he worked for Brooks Automation and after rising through the technical ranks became the Brooks Automation Software Corp. company wide System Engineer for Europe and North America. Previously Steven was a Senior Project Manager at Intrinsyc Software Corportation and also had previous technical positions at Westland Steel Products Ltd and ShurLift industries. Steven has a Masters Degree in Mechanical - Electrical Engineering, is an accredited Professional Engineer and is a certified PMP and ScrumMaster
Scott McGillivray M.C.S.D, M.C.A.D, Software Technical Lead
Scott joined 4Phase Automation in 2004 after previous engagements with Brooks Automation and AltaStream Corp as a software developer for Semiconductor Control systems. Scott has led the majority of complex techncial projects undertaken by 4Phase Automation in the Semiconductor and Solar marketplaces. In addition to customer projects, Scott has led product development efforts for our Korean product partners AP Systems (formerly Kornic Systems) including Interface A products and a .Net User Interface for EasyCluster Tool Control Software. In addition to work at 4Phase, Scott has worked in the game industry with Electronic Arts working as a generalist software developer focusing on AI, Physics Engines and event flow. Scott has a B.SC in Physics and Computer Science and is certified in several Microsoft Technologies.
Adrian Cheung, Software Architect
Adrian joined 4Phase Automation in 2004 after previously working for Brooks Automation as a software developer. Adrian has architected solutions for 4Phase Automation in Semiconductor and Solar industries including the first "Device manager" in the Solar Industry for Marine and Aviation Solar Lanterns as well as connectivity solutions between hetrogeneous software modules for equipment automation. In addition to work at 4Phase, Adrian has worked in the game industry with Electronic Arts and Blue Castle Games focusing on AI and animation. Adrian has a B.SC in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia.
Michelle Davidson, Graphics and Brand Management
Michelle joined 4Phase in 2003. She has enjoyed a 13 year career in marketing, graphics & advertising design. Her work with 4Phase Automation includes technical illustration, User Interface design, brand management and other graphic related work. She has created cutting edge graphics for various customer projects using the latest techniques which has resulted in exceptional customer feedback on product useability. In addition to her work at 4Phase Automation, Michelle is the founder of Flourish Communications.
